Quick Walkabout in Downtown Waynesboro, PA

Recently, I had the opportunity to do a quick walkabout in Downtown Waynesboro, PA, and I’m so glad that I did! From the smallest of details to the largest, it was clear that it is a community that cares and recognizes the value of quality placemaking.

My short walk reminded me that small incremental changes over time really add up into substantial revitalization. Waynesboro is clearly a town that is built for people and built for community; which goes a long way in attracting and retaining businesses, residents, and a high quality of life.

Hats off to Main Street Manager, Bill Kohler, the entire Mainstreet Waynesboro Inc team, and the Borough Of Waynesboro for prioritizing quality placemaking!
